someone has the day off....

I should focus on posting everything in one shot, but I have the day off so I am just going through pictures, wondering how I overlooked so many. And he's my kid, and I find him to be too cute to not make an additional post for his sake.

long lost cheeto.

I came across this photo in my laaaarge archives of family photo's and somehow overlooked this one. This is my niece and my sisters dog Pooter, or chichi? Baby J called him Cheeto. Poor dog. Anyhow this is now officially my new favorite ever...today.

creepy friends

I must have jinxed it for at least one of two reasons. a.] I have the day off (why wouldn't it rain?) or b.] i made a comment about the wonderful weather. Needless to say, I can be blamed for the rain we are experiencing today.

Baby J left his 'flippy floppies' outside last night and was absolutely disgusted at what he found crawling on them.


"A slug and two caterpillar friends" He was not impressed.Ah, the joys of northern Michigan.

Vedding Season

Bonjour!

I write today from Ann Arbor, MI. Mothers surgery was today, so we spent 12 hours (AHH) in a family waiting room with my two wonderful sisters. I must admit that we didn't sit the whole time. Coming from a small town, we were quite entertained by the escalator. Serious. We rode it (as though it were a roller coaster) until Nicole made a mad dash for the womens bathroom.

Mom's surgery went well, and we are very grateful. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support.

So that we can put names with faces here, I'll introduce you. Meet Nicole.

starting over.

Hello again. I know I made a vow to do this more regularly, but things have been beyond chaotic. About a month and a half ago my home burnt down. Luckily no one was home, not pets, anything of that nature, but we did lose all of our belongings. No clothes. No computer. No camera. So finally things are back on track, and wedding season is quickly approaching.

Last weekend I had the great honor of shooting Whitney and Matt's engagement photo's. They are both such wonderful people, and I couldn't be more excited to shoot their wedding. No time to post all of the photo's, so I'll leave you with a taste.
